Attention: CA Residents — We need your help!
Beaches along the U.S.-Mexico border are plagued by sewage, trash, and industrial discharges that constantly threaten public health, the environment, local economies, and our national security. This leaves area beaches closed to ocean recreation more often than not. In fact, in 2020 the U.S. border area beaches were closed for nearly 300 days. We need you to help us ask Congress to fund the BWIP Grant Program at $75 million for fiscal year 2022 to pay for much needed infrastructure solutions on both sides of the border. The beaches and communities along the border need this assistance.
